“The control of body temperature has been an important health indicator for clinical diagnosis and treatment since the time of Hippocrates, and it is said that Hippocrates applied wet mud to the skin to observe the faster drying of a tumorous swelling. The skin temperature in a healthy person under standardized environmental conditions stays within a narrowly defined range and depends on the blood circulation in the lower layers of the skin. Therefore, deviations in surface temperature can have many causes, such as inflammation, malignancy, and infection.”

Thermography is an early warning detector. It often detects disease or injury even before symptoms appear. Early detection allows time for lifestyle modifications to “tweak wellness”.

Thermography may detect changes that, if left unattended, could possibly progress into a late stage disease that once discovered would require more drastic intervention than if it was found and addressed at an early stage of development.

We use a Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging Sensor to map the heat patterns of the human body. This “map” illuminates inflammation and physiological anomalies and asymmetries that cannot be detected with other imaging methods like X–Rays, MRIs, and Ultrasound. Thermography is a radiation free tool.

Our camera

Our A655SC is a special heat sensing device that produces high quality, 307,200 pixel, infrared images with imbedded temperature readings down to <30mK (a few thousandths of a degree Celsius). It is fully automated and is controlled remotely so your privacy is insured.

The sensor is linked to patented software developed by Physician’s Insight that maps the temperature variations of your body. The software translates those differences into a color image that physicians use for an interpretation of your personal physiology.

The interpretation

When your scan is complete we submit your images to our partner, Physician’s Insight, for review. Their specially trained medical doctors examine your health history and images to provide a complete report containing an interpretation of each image.

The findings may offer natural health recommendations, suggestions for additional treatments or testing, suggestions for follow up with traditional medical testing or other specialty practitioners and the best timing for a follow up scan.

Thermography may indicate:

  • dental and gum disease

  • headaches

  • TMJ

  • sinus and allergy congestion

  • tissue and vascular inflammation

  • possible causes for neck and back pain

  • thyroid health, hypothyroidism

  • digestive issues

  • changes in breast heath

  • neuropathy

  • varicose veins

  • rosacea

  • blood sugar imbalances (which may show up in the hands)
